Crazy Girls

This is what our girls do every time we vacuum. Lets just say they keep us entertained, never a dull moment in our house :)

Bailey is OFFICIALLY 1

We had Bailey's birthday party last Saturday, but her official birthday was yesterday, October 28th. We had some family pictures done last night by our friend, Stacy Thiot, and I think we got some cute shots! It was freezing cold, so the girls weren't too thrilled, but they were troopers. We love our Bailey girl, Happy Birthday!

We cannot believe how fast Bailey has grown up! She actually took her first few steps on Saturday, the day of her birthday party! We were so excited! She is still mostly crawling, but takes steps now and then! I love when they walk all wobbly at first, it is so cute!
We had A LOT of family crammed into our small house, it was so fun to see everyone though and we appreciate all the nice gifts and company for our Bailey girl! It was a fun party!
I felt like it was my birthday because Bailey had no interest in opening the presents, so I just went ahead and pulled them open for her, hehe. We got a lot of cute clothes and toys for her! Thanks again everyone for the nice gifts!

She was SO TIRED, but staid awake long enough for the gifts and cake luckily.
Mommy had to blow out the one candle for her, she wasn't too sure about what was going on...
Lets just say Bailey LOVES cake, hmmmmm, just like her Mommy with the sweet tooth :)

Just a few things about Bailey:

1. Bailey loves to snuggle us and soft toy animals, so we got her a huge animal pillow and she rolls around on it all day, it is so cute.

2. She throws a fit when her sister takes her toys away, she is already getting a little attitude.

3. Bailey loves to stand up by me and Gavin and hold onto our legs while we are doing things around the house, she is never far away.

4. When Gavin and I hug or even sit close, she gets really jealous and starts screaming and has to be held and come between us, poor Daddy gets the boot! It is funny too because Abby did this too when she was younger and still does! Momma's girls I guess.

5. Bailey loves to watch the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and starts clapping when it comes on.

6. She thinks she is talking when she yells loud, so we hear lots of loud screaming all day, it must not sound loud to her somehow.

7. She has the sweetest personality and is a cuddler and loves to be held and kissed, or at least we love to kiss the crap out of her!

Bailey is turning 1!!! (Wed., the 28th)

Our Week...

This has been an interesting week so far.

My Grandma Plewe (my Mom's mom), has had two heart attacks in the past week and is still in the hospital. I love her so much and it makes me so sad. It makes me sad to talk with my Mom about it, she is having a hard time and I can't even imagine how I would feel. It just makes me realize that family is the most important thing we have and I have a great one.

The next crazy thing is that Gavin was playing soccer two nights ago and a player on the other team accidentally landed on his ankle and broke it! Gavin is walking with crutches and a brace and is waiting to hear from the doctor what they will have to do, surgery, etc. I told him to maybe hold off on the sports for a little while :) but he loves playing soccer and football, typical guy.

One good thing is that we had Abby tested for lead because there was a possibility she may have had some exposure from the house we live in, but the tests were all normal, so we are happy about that and the fact that we don't have to move!

Change of plans

So Gavin has really been thinking and praying about what career path to take lately and has felt that he shouldn't do dentistry anymore. He has always been thinking of Law as another option and has felt that is the path he should pursue.

So, he is still finishing at BYU in Biology for his bachelors and then he will take the LSAT in January or February and then we will hopefully be interviewing this coming fall for law schools.

Just wanted to give an update.

We're Having a Yard Sale on Sat., Oct. 17!!

So my sister, Mary, and her family got a job offer in Texas and are moving in a few weeks, WE ARE SAD TO HAVE THEM LEAVE PROVO!!!!! But, of course excited for them to have a great job!

Our families are having a combined yard sale tomorrow, Saturday the 17th starting at 9:00 a.m. if anyone is interested in coming! There will be some furniture, toys, housewares, etc.

A typical find after Abby's naps...

#1: She has usually pulled out her hair and it becomes like this, CRAZY!!! I usually have to style her hair twice a day, fun for me :)
#2: She just has this drive to pull everything apart and figure out how things go together, so here she is with her mattress pulled off and I'm assuming she got worn out in the process and passed out while being naughty. Some days we get upset, but most days we just have to laugh, what else can we do? She is such a 2 year old!

Birthday Party!!

My sister, Mary, and brother, John, both have their birthday's in October (on the 9th and 10th), so we usually do a combine party for them! We went out to John's house this past weekend in South Ogden and it was so much fun! Here are some pictures..

This was a teacher of mine from high school that passed away Saturday night when she was trying to save her bus full of students from crashing when the bus driver passed out.

I hate when you hear these tragic stories of someone that you knew! Makes me sad.

Flashback...

I just realized that our new printer has a scanner on it, so I thought it would be fun to post a pic of our high school dance together. We look so little, and I thought we were old! This was a dance we went to in winter of 2001 I think.
