Frustrating weekend!

So we had a false alarm with Bailey this weekend.
I had gone to the doctor on Wednesday and I was
about 60% effaced and I was to about a 1 cm, which
isn't a huge progression, but that night I was having
contractions consistently into the next morning about 2-5
minutes apart. So we went to the hospital and I only
went from a 1.5 cm to 2 cm and the next day I was still
at a 2 cm, so nothing was happening. But I have continued
with some contractions here and there, its just so
frustrating. I hate being sent away from the hospital when
you feel ready to deliver, it just makes you sad. Anyway, I
hope she comes soon, we'll see. She is due in exactly two weeks
from today, which is when Abby was born, so we'll see what
happens. I just hate the waiting process and the emotional
part!

Abby got a feel of being pregnant, just kidding.
Grandma stuffed her belly with a jacket. Man I
never even want her to have to go through
pregnancy and delivery, its awful!

Pumpkins

So we went the the Hee Haw Farms in
Pleasant Grove to pick out pumpkins, as
you can see it was really dark already, so they
took our group out last on a hay ride to get the
pumpkins. We couldn't see anything though!
All of us used cell phones to light the way a little
to try to get a good pumpkin, but we came home
with one orange and one green pumpkin! It was
funny, but we had fun on the hay ride, besides
the fact that I was contracting most the time!
I'm thankful for modern technology with the use
of cell phones in the dark!

A little mommy

So this is becoming a very common sight lately with
Abby, she LOVES her baby dolls and feeding them
and trying to dress them and all that. Its so cute! It
gives me hope that she will be happy to have a little
sister! Whats funny about that baby doll is that
Abby had cheeks just like that when she was
a little baby. I am down to about 20 days left in my pregnancy
now and I am so ready to be done! It has been quite the
journey having Abby, but I was lucky to not be sick for
as long this time. I honestly just can't wait to hug my
husband again and not have it hurt my stomach! Oh, and
to also put away the chunky clothes. Being a Mother has been
so special and I can't wait to have two little girlies! Cost of
diapers will soon double for us though, not fun...

Snicker's Bar

So I was taking a nap since I was up until 4:00
in the morning from not being able to sleep with
this huge prego belly and I awoke to see that my
cute husband had cleaned up the ktichen for me.
Then he pulled me into the kitchen and started
laughing, as you can see above he thinks its funny
to fatten me up when I'm pregnant becuase I get
cravings for chocolate! Thats my husband. Gavin
was laughing hard, so nice. It was a good joke, I
have learned to laugh at my chunkiness lately.

Provo Canyon

I have been dying to go into the mountains to
see the changing leaves, so we went for FHE
tonight and it was so beautiful in Provo Canyon!
It is getting cold, but it feels good to me
considering I have what Gavin calls a "built in heater"
right now with this pregnancy. It was so nice and
peaceful. I think its so important to get away from
our busy lives for a minute to appreciate the
beautiful things on earth.

Sunday walk

We took a nice walk on Sunday after
General Conference and it was COLD!
I love the changing weather though, it
makes me excited for all the fun Holidays
coming up soon! We caught a rare picture
of Abby with a hat on, yes it lasted about
2 seconds on her head, but we got the picture!
She hates things on her head for some reason.
I loved all the wonderful messages from
General Conference, its always so uplifting and
redirects your attitude towards what is important
in life. I love our Prophet, President Monson, he is
so sweet and shared some great messages!!

Bye Bye!

So on Saturday during Conference Abby put on
her shoes and got her baby doll and bag and
was waving bye bye to us like she was going out and
was blowing kisses to us!I guess she gets it from
watching me when we go to do errands, she is so funny!
It just makes you realize that kids watch
EVERYTHING you do!
