The Tales of the Almost 2 year old...

Wow, I never understood how "2" Abby would really act until the past few weeks. She is DEFINITELY in the 2 year old phase. She will be turning 2 this Saturday (the 28th of Feb.)

We had to call poison control for the first time this past weekend as she had gotten into some shampoo, lotion, and possibly fluoride drops when I had her out of site for a few minutes. She was fine in the end, just a little sick, but recovered quick. We don't know what she ingested, but she definitely ingested a little of one of the above.

Next comes the screaming episodes....one word, LOUD!!!!!!!! It amazing how loud a little person can be. She has lots of "special" moments lately with tantrums and hitting and biting, but we're trying to be patient with her.

All in all, we love her, just hope the 2 year old phase doesn't last too long!

I still feel like I had Bailey yesterday, she has just grown up on us! She is just the happiest little thing, smiling all day long. When she sees me across the room she grunts and squeals until I come get her, the little stinker.

In this video Abby is being the good older sister, wiping off Bailey's drool, lol. Abby is so sweet with her.

After we have had both girls, we have always said how we can't imagine life without them, it is just weird to think about! It seems like we have always had them and they are just so fun to have.

Valentines Day

My little valentines are so cute (Abby and Bailey). We had a fun day together as a family and Gavin's Parents were here too! We had a nice dinner together at home and just played with the girlies. Gavin gave me some beautiful roses and moola, hehe.




Abby pullin' a cheaser smile as always! She has started to say everything we do and I also heard her whistling yesterday, like her Mom! She says "sorry" now, its so cute, melts my heart, I can't be mad when she says that!

Here is a good story from church today.....Abby is one of two kids in Nursery
in our ward and when the other little boy walked in (he is about 18 months old),
I guess her nursery leaders said she gave him a kiss! We think she did it because
she probably thinks he is a baby, like Bailey, but it made us laugh! Poor little guy!
Later on in the day Abby found a HUGE gift bag that I must have left in her closet
and stuffed it full of toys and was lugging it around. The bag was as tall as she is, so
it was just so funny to watch her try to carry it around all night! I don't know where
she comes up with things, but she is just so funny sometimes.


Bailey is growing up too fast! She is trying her hardest to sit up all the time and is really starting to try to talk, but of course if it just jabbering. She is such a sweetie! We don't want her to grow up too fast, she is too fun at this stage!

Isn't Gavin a cute daddy? He just loves his girls!! He is always pinching the crap out of them, poor things....


Abby is finally letting me put curls in her hair, hope she keeps letting me do it!
