Magazine Feature!

I'm so excited.....I just found out today that two of my products are going to be featured in the October 2010 issue of Do It Yourself Magazine!!!! They are doing an article about using felt in decorating, and they had me send over a pillow and a rosette flower arrangement for photographing a few weeks ago. I'm just excited :)

Fun Parenting Moments......

So Abby decided to swallow a nickle today, why she did it, we have no idea. She was acting like she was in pain after ingesting it, so we called Crappa (Grampa , AKA her Pediatrician), and decided to have an x-ray done to make sure it wasn't stuck somewhere. Sure enough, the x-ray shows the coin clear as day in her stomach. Luckily, it has passed through her little body smoothly and should arrive later :) Sometimes I just wonder what goes through her head when she decides to do these things. Ahhhhh, the stress of parenting :)

Hmmm, somebody is almost 2

Bailey is well known for her LOUD screams, the little stinker! She is starting to throw some pretty good tantrums lately, and I happened to get a picture of one. hehe

The girls also LOVE to wrestle their Daddy every night, and I love it because it wears them out just in time for bed :)

WARNING : LOTS OF PICTURES AHEAD!!!!

On Sunday, the 4th, we had a nice dinner at my Parent's and also took lots of family pictures. We took some in front of the Draper Temple, which is so beautiful! Then we headed back to my Parents to take more in their yard, which is also so pretty! The kids were going crazy by the end, but we were lucky to get some nice pictures with everybody!

My cute Parents, love you!!

4th of July Weekend Part 2

On Saturday, we started off the day with a breakfast with all my family up in Suncrest (by my parents house). It was really cold, but the food was great! We headed to Seven Peaks after that and spent most the day there. It was cute to see all the grand kids together, they had so much fun! Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us all there!

Me and my Sister, Mary, at the breakfast

The girls were freezing cold, but they loved the food :)

The whole group at Seven Peaks! Wow, our family is growing!!!!!!!

We watched fireworks that night in Riverton. Gavin and I love to go there for the fireworks and the carnival every summer. We both lived here in high school/middle school, so it is fun to come back to celebrate the 4th! We sat in front of my Dad's Pediatric office, which I think is the best seat to watch the fireworks. Poor Gavin broke his toe while we were walking around though. For some reason, there was a brick sitting in the middle of the sidewalk, and he stubbed his toe so hard and broke it. Poor guy!

Saturday was so fun, and we all came home completely exhausted, but it was a good exhaustion.

4th of July Weekend Part 1

What a weekend! My sisters and their cute families came into town for the holiday and we have been doing a marathon of family events together, and we've loved it! It is so fun to see my sisters since they are living in Texas and Oregon, how can I convince them to move back to Utah???

To start off the weekend, we had our own little family fireworks in Provo on Friday night. Suprisingly, the girls gradually started to like the fireworks. Abby was hiding in her room at first and just wanted to watch out her window, but I got her to come out finally and then she had a blast!

Bailey almost getting attacked by our neighbors cat, we were about to attack back!

Gavin put on the firework show for us, it was fun :)

Bailey running away from the fireworks
Sweet Abby sat by Mommy most the night, we like to keep our distance from fire :)
