She's smiling!!

Bailey was totally smiling at me today! I love it!
She has been such a sweet baby, we're lucky to
have her in our family! Before I had her, Gavin
was able to give me a blessing and it was such a
comfort and reassured me that being a mother is
SO important and special for women. Even through
the hard days it is so worth it and blesses our lives.

Thanksgiving moments.....

I love this, Abby was eating a bag of chips and
totally fell asleep mid eating them. She played
too hard at Grandma's house!

at Gavin's parent's place in Layton for a few nights

and Abby had a fun time there! It was fun seeing

some of his siblings and parents.

but I love this one of Gavin and Bailey and of

our little spunky Abby!

Family pictures

Here are a few of the family photos I had my
sister take of us for Christmas cards. I of course
didn't include the actual photo that is on the card,
but these are some other pictures we liked. Its
fun having our own little family of four!

Bailey's first Sunday at church...

So Bailey doesn't look too happy in these
pictures, she was of course STARVING
after church on Sunday, big surprise!
It was so nice to be able to go back to church,
I have a hard time missing for weeks and weeks!
She looked so sweet on Sunday, I love dressing up
a little baby girl again!

Being a huge BYU fan, the BYU/UTAH game was a
huge dissapointment! I'm glad we live in Provo
right by campus so we don't have to face any
UTAH fans about it! I am still true blue though...

We've made progress...

Abby actually let me do her hair today, I was so

excited! Usually she pulls everything out of her hair

and runs away, but not today! I know it seems dumb

to most of you, but to me its great, I have wanted to do

her hair cute for a long time and maybe now she will let

me do it! Can you tell I am a stay-at-home Mom now,

these are the highlights of my days now, hehe!

Bailey Jane

We can't believe Bailey is already 3 1/2 weeks old!

She has been such a good baby so far. Last night we

were at Target and this older man who worked there

came over to me while I was holding her and he was

like "Oh, this is a new one, I thought you were holding

a doll, she is beautiful", then he kissed her forehead, which normally I

would freak out about with him being a stranger, but he

looked like a normal LDS grandpa. Then he asked me how I

was feeling and went over to Gavin and Abby and told us

we were doing a good job with our family and patted Gavin

on the shoulder. It was so funny! It made me miss my Grandpas

though. We had a good laugh.

Yes, I know I already put on a Christmas background for my blog, but we also already put up our Christmas tree, so I figured I might as well enjoy this background too! I just love Christmas, so the more the better! It is especially fun now that we have two little girls to celebrate it with!

So on Sunday I threw on Abby's church clothes

and got her and Gavin out the door just in time

for church. He has been so good to take her

by himself for the past two weeks! I thought she

looked cute for me only having a few minutes to

get her dressed up.

I forget how TINY newborns are, look how little

Bailey looks in her car seat! As you can see, Abby

loves chocolate and I am happy becuase Gavin

doesn't, now I have someone to share my love

for it with! She was hiding with her chocolate, she

makes me laugh. I think I passed on my sweet

tooth to her, not a good thing!

I love having these two cuties! Abby

really is a sweet big sister and loves

to hug Baiely a lot. Baby #2 really

has been an easier adjustment than

I thought so far! We love our girlies.

Twins?

So ever since Bailey was born I just keep thinking

she looks just like Abby did as a baby, am I right?

They look SO similar, its crazy! I am sure they will

change of course as they grow, but man, its like

seeing baby Abby again! (The top two are of Bailey,

bottom two of Abby if you can't tell :)

Happy Halloween!!

We had a fun Halloween, besides getting flu shots!

We all went up to my parents house and had a fun

little party and the kids were able to trick-or-treat

together up there. Abby was so tired all day, but she

staid up long enough to get a good amount of candy!

It was fun to see everyone's costumes, check out

Josh and Mary's, they were the best!
