good news and a funny story
Gavin took the LSAT for the second time a few weeks ago, and he got a really good score this time! We are so proud of him! Now we can start applying for Law Schools in the Fall and hopefully we will be in a Law School by the beginning of next year. He is finishing up at BYU officially this December, which is also a huge accomplishment as he is doing Biology and it has been HARD.
Also, this past week, we had an almost visit to the Urgent Care for Abby. She was wrestling with Gavin and jumped onto his back and fell off onto her arm and was complaining of pain. We weren't sure if she was pretending or being serious, so we headed out to the Urgent Care. She wouldn't use that arm and was acting like it was painful, but as soon as we got to the doctor, she immediately started using it and playing with toys. Hmmmm, it's a miracle ;) the little faker :) Of course we are happy she isn't hurt, so at least we got a peace of mind from the "almost visit".

We're having a .....
Yep, another girl is on the way! It gave us a good laugh when we were in the ultrasound, but we are so excited. Gavin wanted a boy of course, but he couldn't be more excited. And financially, this will be great for us since we have everything girl already.
This baby is VERY active and was rolling around throughout the ultrasound, it was funny. The poor technician was having a hard time getting images. She is already kicking me a lot, and it is fun to feel the little movements.
We can't wait to have three little girlies!

Catch Up Time
Memorial Day weekend was really fun for our little family! On Saturday, we took the girls to see the animals at Thanksgiving Point and then took them to see the fish at Cabellas. They loved seeing the animals, and Bailey calls every single animal a "doggy", it is so funny. We are working on that one :)
On Memorial Day, we got together with my family and went to see a few graves at a cemetery in Provo from my Dad's side of the family. It was a great way to celebrate the day, I love remembering those who have passed and made our lives possible. We also went to a park afterward and had lunch and let the kids run around. It was so fun to see everyone!
Our last exciting part to the day was picking out our new couch! We were able to sell our couches (the set) for enough money to get a new leather sleeper sofa! It was awesome because we didn't have to spend any extra money, we made enough off our old set for it. We have been wanting to get a sleeper sofa so when our parents/family come to visit, they have somewhere to sleep besides the floor :) The couch came this morning and I was so excited! I actually lost sleep over it last night because I was so excited, I'm a dork.

I love my girls
I just wanted to write these few little happenings down before I forget about them.
I had gotten Bailey out of the bath and she was all dressed for bed, and then I moved on to getting Abby dressed. As soon as I turned away from her, Bailey ran for the tub (which still had some water in it), and jumped in, clothes on and all! I pulled her out and she was crying because she was cold and confused as to why she was wet. The little stinker. We just had to laugh! She thought she was teasing me, but in the end, she wasn't too happy!
Abby has these pink water shoes that she still loves to wear, but they have gotten kind of stinky from her wearing them without socks, and today she brought them over to me and said "Mom, these are poopy". I tried to explain to her that it was the smell from her feet, not that they were literally poopy. So I told her I would wash them, and then she ran over to Gavin and said, "Daddy, look, these are poopy", and I said, "Abby, I don't think Daddy wants to smell your shoes". She makes me laugh! Abby is getting very smart in so many ways, and it is nice that she is finally understanding why I say no to certain things, not just because I'm a mean mom.
The last story was so funny. Usually, my girls take a little while to wind down in their room before they fall asleep, so I have to go and check on them several times. Usually Abby is pretty wild, throwing toys or climbing in Bailey's crib, and so when I heard a loud noise, I ran in ready to pull Abby out of the crib. I came in, and Bailey was jabbering really loud and banging a toy on her crib and Abby was laying on her bed trying to fall asleep. Abby said "Mommy, Bailey is loud", and I just started laughing because talk about role reversal! Abby is kind of growing out of it, and Bailey is getting into it now! So I went to calm Bailey down, and she just starts laughing and rolling around her crib, the little naughty thing!
I love my girls and I love these sweet and funny moments, it makes it all worth it!

Mother's Day!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year, and I hope you all did too! I love my little girls so much, they make us so happy! These pictures are kind of backwards in order, but here is how the day went:
Gavin brought me breakfast in bed (toast and yogurt :), which was sweet. He also helped me get the girls ready for church, which helps so much!
At church we had some really good talks on motherhood, which is always inspiring to hear. In Relief Society, we got all kinds of good food and they let us just visit for most of the hour instead of having a lesson, which was fun! Our Bishop gave us all a pair of pink socks too, which made me laugh, and guess who put them on as soon as we got home? Yup, Bailey, the little girl loves anything that is soft and cuddly.
Gavin made me a nice steak dinner that night and then we took a walk to the duck pond on campus, which the girls love.
It was such a nice day and I can't believe I already have two little girls and one on the way! Time sure has flown by, but I can honestly say I have never been so happy as I am now as a mother!
The girlies ready for our walk to see the ducks!
I love this picture of Abby, the little ham!
Um, I thought the bread was for the ducks???? hehe
Abby LOVES feeding the ducks, who I think are actually overfed :)
cute Bailey being her usual goofy self :) she is so cute!
One of the only times the girls held still for a picture :)
So here is my growing belly, it is hard to tell in the picture, but I feel like I'm sticking out a lot all of a sudden!
Our little family, I love these guys! I am looking quite pale from the sickness, so sorry about that! It is getting a little bit better, but there are still some yucky days. Anyway, I'm so blessed to be part of my cute little family! I think Gavin is hoping for a little boy this time, we have a lot of emotions in our house :)

The $11 Chair
Gavin told me I have to post about our chair; he said it is "blog worthy", so I didn't want to let him down :)
Here is the story behind "Old Brown", AKA Gavin's new desk chair. He bought this chair from BYU for $2, yep, $2. They were selling a whole bunch of chairs from campus for really cheep. So Gavin walked in the house with this chair a few weeks ago, and I kind of laughed. If you are at BYU or have been lately, you have probably seen these light brown chairs all over campus.
Anyway, the chair was pretty worn out and the color was not too lovely, so we decided to go and get some fabric and reupholster it ourselves. We headed to Joann's Fabrics and we found this black vinyl fabric for $9 and yard and Gavin got to work on the chair with his nail gun.
So in the end, I think it looks a lot better and it only cost $11! Gavin is very proud of his work and wanted me to post a picture, so here you go.......
