So I was contacted by the owner of this new, cute boutique in Pleasant Grove, called Patina Market, who wanted me to sell some of my Etsy items for a two week showing! It is a very cute place, they have a few vendors who show for a two week period from Wednesday-Saturdays. Check it out if you have time, I'm sure there will be some very cute things for sale there and they are all handmade items! I will be selling this week and next, Wed-Sat. Check out their website for hours and their address.

My Mom
I'm a few weeks delayed in posting this, sorry :) But my Mom had her birthday on Jan. 10 and we all got together at their house to celebrate. I just want to mention what a wonderful Mother I have. She is so caring and thoughtful to each of us. We are so busy with our own families now, but she always makes an effort to support our children and encourages us on. She has such a strong testimony of the gospel and has always shown that to each of us through everything she does, how she speaks, dresses, and acts towards everyone. Not to mention she is so talented in many ways, I grew up watching her sew, paint, decorate, and cook some amazing meals! We used to call her Martha Stewart. I remember thinking, how does she know how to do EVERYTHING, she is so well rounded and talented! A lot to live up to :) I am so thankful to have her as my mother, I don't think I could have asked for a better one! Love you Mom!
Chris, me, Mom, John, and Dadio!

My Mom had the idea of sledding with all the grandkids, and we had a blast! Abby LOVED it, Bailey not so much :(

Abby

Okay, look at this picture of baby Abby, this was almost 3 years ago now! Look at her little face in that picture, she was totally smiling! She was a happy little thing from day one, she didn't hardly cry at all at the hospital the day she was born. I just came across this picture today and it made me laugh, she has always been so full of it!She will be turning 3 in a month and a half and we cannot believe it! She is definately acting her age lately and is starting to talk a lot and give us some attitude, AKA "abbytude". Her latest thing is to watch EVERYTHING mommy does and try to repeat it. For an example, I went into get the girls yesterday and Abby had taken out the mattress from Bailey's crib, while Bailey was still trying to sleep, and put it on the floor and took off the sheet. Hmmmmm, all we can say is WOW, we have no idea why she does these things, it is our latest challenge with her, lol. Our idea is that she is just trying to do mommy things, but gosh! Sometimes it is just dangerous! Poor Bailey was asleep on the hard metal springs on the crib, she totally puts up with Abby's adventures!
But Abby is really a sweet older sister and gives Bailey kisses and makes her laugh all day long. We love her!

Our Little Wild Things
abby and bailey are busy busy busy lately! They LOVE their slide from IKEA and are really having fun playing together now that Bailey is on the move! She is walking around really well now and is into everything!
here we have bailey sticking cheese on the cupboard, isn't that nice?
and then here she is folding her arms for the prayer! We are so excited because we didn't tell her to do this, but she is watching us I guess :) She is starting to catch onto things now, it is fun.
look at that extension, we might have a gymnast in the making! Also, can I just say bailey is a little dare devil and likes to climb and do everything, kind of like her older sister!
here is our pretty abby brushing her hair, and she told me to take a picture of her in the act, I guess she was proud! She is wanting to do everything mommy does these days, including cooking, cleaning, hair, makeup, dishes, etc. Little mommy in the making :)

Christmas Eve pictures....opening pj's
Christmas Eve cookie decorating, I even got Gavin to join in, well, he frosted like three cookies, but that was better than nothing!
Abby loved helping me cut out the cookies, she loves doing anything in the kitchen these days
We visited Gavin's parents a few days before Christmas, and here are a few pictures from it! This is Laura and Abby (Gavin's sister's daughter)
Here is Gavin's brother, John, and his cute family! We had such a wonderful Christmas! This was our first year staying home, and it was so fun to do our own little holiday traditions this year! It was a little bit lonely here in Provo because all our neighbors (BYU students) were gone, so we felt like the only people here. But it was still fun!

5 YEARS!!!!
Our wedding day, Dec. 21, 2004, in the Salt Lake Temple....
Happy 5th Anniversary Gavin!!!!I am so lucky to have Gavin as my husband. Every day I realize what a wonderful husband he is to me. He is always so thoughtful and loving towards me, even when I don't deserve it! He has always made me feel so special and loved and I am thankful for him in my life! He has been such a sweet father to our girls and is working so hard in school and work. He is the husband I always hoped for and I love him so much!!!!
For our Anniversary this year we were lucky to have a few days to ourselves! Gavin's sister, Jenna, was SOOOOO nice to help watch our girls for two days this weekend as we celebrated our Anniversary a little early (our official Anniversary is on Monday). But we went to the Salt Lake Marriott Hotel for two nights and did lots of fun things! It was nice to just be alone together for a few days, but we totally missed our girls!
Here we are in the hotel room, our view was SO pretty! We were overlooking the Galavan Center with all the people ice-skating.
The first day, we did a session at the Salt Lake Temple and then went out to eat at the Gateway and just walked around the expensive stores for a little while. It was FREEZING cold though and so we tried to stay inside as much as possible. Gavin ran into an old friend while we were waiting to eat dinner, so that was fun for him!

On Saturday, we went skiiing at Brighton Ski Resort! It was so much fun, and neither of us had any falls amazingly! I haven't been skiing for quite a while, so it was so much fun to go with Gavin. His first time skiing was actually on our honeymoon, and man he is just as good as I am now, if not better! He just catches onto everything so fast!

Here we are after our day or skiiing, worn out and sun burnt :)

We always love the view at the top of one of the ski lifts there, it is so pretty!

It was such a fun weekend and we are so thankful to Jenna and her family for helping watch our girls! I can't believe five years has already gone by since our wedding day! Love you Gavin!

Christmas Fun!
Last Sunday the girls got to wear their Christmas dresses! They looked so cute! I love getting them dressed up!
Abby in her cute dress, being shy :)
My Parents and Grandma are doing the Twelve Days of Christmas for us this year (as well as my siblings families). They are so cute to do this for us! Each day, we get to open a present, and Abby gets SO excited! Below is a picture of Day #1's present, this cute Elf! We still need to name it....

So far our Elf has been a little bit mischevious around the house, but we did find him dusting our furniture one time..... Abby gets excited to see the Elf because she knows we get to open a present when he is out!
Here is our little Christmas tree, it is a perfect size for our little place :) We hope you are all having a fun holiday season so far!
