We had a wonderful Sunday, as always :) After church was over and dinner was devoured, Abby asked if we could go take some pictures. I've had them do a lot of pictures/posing for my little business, and they've always been good sports about it. Anyway, I'm trying to practice more photography as well, so thought it would be fun to snap some shots of my cuties.
A good friend suggested a park that had some great photo opportunities, and it sure did! There were also a few birds and farm animals around the area, so the girls loved walking through the park. As you can tell, Abby was the best to hold still for pictures (shocking). Tried to snap some of the other two, but they were busy running around, hahaha.
Love these girlies and their excitement for life!
On another note, I had an amazing thing happen today. Gavin had just returned home from school when there was a knock at the door. Someone had put a card in the window for me. Inside, it explained that two friends wanted to do one random act of kindness each year on 9/11 in honer of a friend who had passed away. Inside I found $120....I was in complete shock. They had mentioned in the card about me and my Etsy business and hoped it would help with that. I am still in shock and don't feel deserving at all of the kindness. I also feel extremely blessed and thankful for it as it will help us out so much since money is so tight right now. Whichever friends gave us this gift, you have NO idea how much it means and how thankful we are! I hope I can return the kindness, and what an amazing example of love this was to our family.
